Just Worldwide opportunity to contribute to Chronic Kidney Disease Research

Here at the African Caribbean Kidney Education Enterprise™ (ACKEE), we are always looking for opportunities that support our mission: to raise awareness and improve understanding of kidney health, particularly within Black communities.

That is why I am sharing this important research opportunity, which invites individuals living with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) and APOL1-Mediated Kidney Disease (AMKD) in the United Kingdom to take part in a 45-minute online discussion. Selected participants will receive a £100 honorarium for their time.

The study, led by Just Worldwide, aims to better understand the lived experiences of people affected by CKD and AMKD. Research like this is essential - not only to help shape more inclusive healthcare, but also to ensure that the voices of underrepresented communities are heard and valued.

If you or someone you know is living with CKD or AMKD, I encourage you to take a look at the flyer alongside this blog for further details and consider taking part. Your insight could help influence future treatments, care, and communication around kidney health.

To find out more or to register your interest, please contact Shauna at: engagement@just-worldwide.com

We were invited by Just Worldwide to share this opportunity as it aligns with our work in kidney health education.
