Peer Support...
Living with kidney disease can feel overwhelming, particularly when you are navigating new information, medical appointments and important decisions about your health and your life.
Our Peer Support service provides a safe, confidential space to ask questions, talk through your experiences and gain confidence in managing your own health or supporting someone you care about.
Support comes from people with lived experience of kidney disease and can include guidance, practical advice and shared experience. Support is available to people living with kidney disease, as well as family members, partners and carers.

We can offer:
-
Online audio or video calls
-
WhatsApp messages (coming soon)
-
Email support
Each peer support session is up to one hour.
You can talk to a peer supporter about anything related to your kidney health, including chronic kidney disease, dialysis, transplantation, diet and fluid restrictions, or the emotional impact of kidney disease.
You do not need to know exactly what support you need before getting in touch. If you think peer support could help you or someone you know, we would love to hear from you.
